Diamonds' first ever trials day is on the 5th July, we are looking for footballers from Year 6 (in September) through to Ladies. Diamonds have a well deserved reputation for friendly and fair football but with a winning edge as shown by the 13 league titles won across the club during the last 5 years. We are the biggest and by far the most successful female club in the area. So if you think you would like to join us download details HERE and who knows next season you could be one of us.

Our under 14's finished the league with a perfect season winning all 18 and scoring 140  goals along the way.

Diamonds will be running a new ladies team next year see HERE to down load details, we may have positions in our other teams. If you are interested in a move contact the coach that matches the year you currently play in via the Teams link on the left.

Well  all 5 teams played today scoring a total of 35 goals !!, that brings this season total to 120, a superb start considering we are only 4 weeks into the season.

Well done to thee under13's who sealed a league & cup double with a fantastic 7-2 win at Earls Barton, also congratulations to the u12's who came runner up in  their league.

Congratulations to the under 13s who took the league cup today and commiserations to the 14s who despite scoring the most goals during normal time were robbed by a disgraceful reffing decision (even the Bedford manager agreed it wasn't a goal), although hats off to the Bedford girls who played excellently, with great spirit and were worthy winners.

Well done to both the U14s & U13s who stormed through to their league cup finals at Kettering today, with the U11 Blues still in the hunt for a place at the finals it could be a record year for the diamonds.

U11 Blues will soon be sporting new tracksuits thanks to a £250 sponsorship deal with Care UK. The girls were sponsored thanks to Joanne Sheppard whose daughter Jazz, plays for the Blues and is the leading goal scorer.
Care UK branch manager, Nina Johnson, said: "We have sponsored the Blues so they can purchase tracksuits for their training and travelling to and from games.
"We also wanted to give something back to say thank you to Joanne Sheppard who asked us to sponsor the team."
Blues manager, Nigel Fishpool, said: "This means a lot to the team as they can now all look the same as well as keeping warm throughout the winter months."
Care UK is an independent provider of specialist homecare, palliative care and outcome based support in the Peterborough area.

Danni departs Diamonds to join England!
 
It is with regret that we announce that Danni Croucher has left the U16's team. Our leading goal scorer last season, Danni has been selected to represent the England junior team at badminton.
 
We wish Danni well in her ambitions to play for the full England squad and thank her for her dedication to the Diamonds club.

An interesting month lies ahead for the Diamonds and Ladies with 3 local derby's. The under 16,s ,under 14s & Ladies all playing against Peterborough Azure in the League, County cup & FA cup respectively.

There are a couple of places for players in our under 14s &  under 10s squads. You will need to be in school years 5 or 6 to play for the under 10s, and an experienced player in school years 8 or 9 (in September) to play for the under 14s. Please contact the relevant coach using the teams link on the left if you think you are made of the right stuff to be a Diamond.

Do you have any one in your club who needs to complete the FA Child Protection workshop? There is still availability on Monday 14th August 2006, 6.30pm to 9.30pm at Hunts FA. The cost is £18.00.

MINI SOCCER MATCH DAY SKILLS REFEREES' COURSE

 August 8th 2006, 7pm to 9.30pm

Venue: Hunts FA, Huntingdon 

There are still some places available on the above free course. The course is aimed at anyone who is involved in or would like to be involved in, (or is being asked to be involved in!) refereeing mini soccer matches - coaches, managers, parents, older siblings, etc. The course is open to anyone aged 14 years and above.

Diamonds will be entering two teams into next Sundays Nottingham football tournament (Ladies & U10), Good luck.

Thanks to everyone who turned up last night for the annual presentation evening, 180 tickets were sold and the club was at bursting point, This just re affirms the diamonds' position as the biggest and most successful girls and ladies club in the area, every player left with a trophy that had been won in competitive play, not many clubs can boast that!!

Another fantastic weekend where the club has added to its already impressive season, both the under 13s & under 15s won their respective classes at the wisbech football tournament to bring this seasons trophy haul to an impressive 9, well done all hopefully we can add to it over the summer.

What a great weekend at Peterborough Diamonds, the Under 13's achieved a well deserved and hard earned treble of the league, league cup & county cup championships with a 4-0 win over their closest rivals Bedford & District Girls, on top of that the under 12's secured a fantastic runners up spot in their very competitive league.

This completes an awesome season for the Diamonds where every squad has won silverware. I cant think of any other girls club that can boast of such an impressive record.

Our under 13s won the county cup against local rivals Peterborough in a convincing fashion with a 6-1 win.

Diamonds under 15s Won our clubs first silverware of the season by  lifting the division 2 title today, well done to Richard and all the girls

Diamonds started the new season in spectacular fashion scoring 38 goals and not conceding a single one with the under 15's leading the way with an impressive  tally of 16 goals.
